HEY girl! Things might seem turned upside down right now, and honestly, they kinda are. But you’re not stuck inside right now. There’s a lot you can do, a lot you can become, and a lot of ways you can serve.
I’m totally having the best time ever while seeing what everyone is up to during this quarantine, so I figured I’d jump in and share with you what my time in quarantine is looking like.
I came home to be with my fam right now so I’m adjusting as best as I can… (I miss my apartment and roomie, Emily hehe hey girl if you’re reading this).
Beyond that though, it’s so nice to be at home and have my mom to put me back together when I get anxious… cuz that’s life right now folks!
I’m making a schedule for myself and gonna share that with ya now!!!!! I hope this helps you, maybe gives you some ideas on how to survive this craaaaazy time. (I’d loveeeee to hear how your days are going, too).
I’m working from home technically, but I often head down the street to my grandparent’s lake house where it’s a lot quieter (sorry to the fam, can’t concentrate with y’all around).
My main work right now other than working with entrepreneurs on keeping up with their businesses is working to serve you people during this time, so the content is gonna start getting pumped out a wholllle bunch more (so basically… get excited).
I’m making some guidelines for myself to stay in line, sane, and happy during this time that might be helpful for you! Here they are:
LISTEN TO A PODCAST EVERY DAY.
This has kinda become a new regular for me because I absolutely LOVE podcasts, but I’m being intentional right now about tuning into them at least once a day. My top recommendations are the Heart & Hustle Podcast with Lindsey Roman + Evie Rupp, Goal Digger with Jenna Kutcher, She Believed with Caroline Rose Ownes, and SHE with Jordan Lee Dooley.
GETTING FRESH AIR.
There isn’t really a way to get out and about right now, but don’t let yourself get cooped up inside. GET SOME FRESH AIR. Take a walk, sit on your porch, just walk out the dang door and do something for 15 minutes other than being trapped in quarantine.
PRIORITIZE LIFE RIGHT NOW, NOT PRODUCTIVITY.
Whether we like it or not, now probably isn’t the most productive, nonstop, go-go-go time of our lives. Yes, do what you gotta do, but remember that life right now is not normal. Be a part of your fam game night even if it means you don’t get to all the emails you were hoping to. Take a break from answering those DMs to have coffee with your mom. I don’t know what exactly that looks like in your life, but take it to heart and start setting productivity to the side because right now we all NEED to lean on family, fun, and living life as fully as we can.
READ A BOOK (or 10).
Fiction. Business. Faith. Self-help. Pick something you want to learn about, and find a book in that area!!!!! Time is plentiful right now–read something you normally wouldn’t have time for! (P.S. I’m currently nerding out while reading the book Atomic Habits. 10/10 recommend).
